Can I run a Headline2 with just a 72/HICAP?

I’m having speaker crackle issues and while I’m sorting that out I was wondering if I can keep the 250 powered down and listen with headphones running through Headline2 connected to my 72/HICAP ?

Want to make sure I’m not doing any ‘damage’.
