Entirely possible. They seem to make it up as they go along.
Just had BMW insurance ringing me to check a couple of things before sending me my renewal. They have a new insurance product Flex which is monthly paid and continues until cancelled. I never pay these things monthly but looks like I would have to move away from BMW insurance to pay annually.
Has anyone any experience of this BMW Flex? It’s not cheap…
I pay a lot because iam 80. I will put the car in my wife’s name she is 50 years younger.

I would make sure you are still covered if you “borrow” her car…insurance companies are amazing at finding loopholes for not paying claims.
The policy holder will need to declare who is the main driver which presumably is you? Should false information be given this may invaliadate the policy. I would suggest you proceed with care.
Nah. He just needs to send her out on errands to get her mileage up as necessary.
