Nice. I had a pair of those for a while and they sounded very nice. I used them with 250-2 and a REL sub.
Contour has always been a very sweet speakers , my first par of contours are 1.3 mk 2 then to 1.3 SE ⌠beautiful
Dyns are very power hungry though

Much prefer the CB160 although they are even harder to find. Not sure I really like regulated amps though as Iâve got a Linn Klout at the moment and there is something in common with 250 that doesnât quite gel with me. But you need to try for yourself.
110 is a lovely thing - I wouldnât sell it until youâve spent some time with a serviced 250 + Snaps or CB Hicap.
Well the proper stands came in and I got the dyns set up. The 110 is very capable amp and has no issues driving these speakers. I could very happy to stop there but, from all of the comments above I thought best to see what I could be missing.
So I was able to get a serviced olive 250/ and a 82/hicap set up. As soon as my xlr to 4 pin din cable arrives I will be able to give it a spin.
