CD extraction failed due to a system error..

Hi,
When I switch on the Star, I always get the following message: CD extraction failed due to a system error.
However, the extraction works, but it’s still annoying because I have to acknowledge the error message with the remote control.

How can I cancel this message?

The only way that I know of to get rid of this message is putting the Star in “deep sleep” mode, which is done by long-pressing the power button (you should hear some clicking when it switches off). When you switch it back on, it will do a full restart, and the message should be gone.

And if you haven’t already, make sure you’re on the latest firmware (in the Settings menu, search for updates, then apply the update if one is presented).

Actually that doesn’t do a full restart. The way to do that is put the Star in Deep Sleep, then turn the mains power off, wait say half a minute and put the power back on. The Star should restart on its own.
