Cd player for mu-so

Hi guys, I have a couple of questions.
I have connected a record player to the Mu-so 2nd generation, can I also connect a CD player? Maybe they need to be plugged into the same outlet? If yes, does anyone have a good model to recommend? Thanks R

If you are using the 3.5mm jack socket for input from your phono stage (assuming that’s your setup) then the optical input is free for a cd player. I’d pick a marantz; this from 7 oaks:

I didn’t have much desk space so I got a Teac which is very compact but sounds good.
