Cd-R audio won’t play

Good quality CD-R Audio not recognised by my Uniti star- display states “loading”. Purchased CDs play normally
Any ideas/ hints?

My Melco ripper and apple super drive don’t have a problem with CDr’s. I have quite a few. Maybe rip them on a computer and use via USB stick?

Should play CD-R without any problem. Some brands of CD-R and some burners can be problematic, too. I don’t think it will play CD-RW, though.

Try write CD-R’s with lower speed.
