Hi all, I seem to have lost the blanking plug from my CDx2, but I was wondering if other plugs from other equipment will be suitable?
I was thinking of gear such as, NDX / ND5XS. There’s one available to buy somewhere so I’d be grateful for any assistance here please?
Tom Tom Audio in St Albans have all the Naim spares you need.
The plugs are different; if you find a seller online you’ll see 4 maybe 5 different types. The burndy cables are not cross compatible, the same goes for the plugs.
Whatever you do, don’t try force fitting the wrong link plug as it will damage the equipment (FWIW there’s a plastic guide pin that should prevent incorrect fitment, but these can break off…)
Thanks to all for your help, but unbelievably I found the ‘old’ one in a box with other bit n bobs.
There’s been a lot of home maintenance going on in my house recently so inevitably things get moved , and stored carefully…. but not on this occasion
