Anyone tried these cables and can describe the sonic differences?
I have only tried the Chord Epic X, which I currently use.
First impressions were that they are bright. To the point of pulling out top end detail I’d never heard, regardless of source. Nice clear mids, but the low bass I’d previously heard was lacking.
I run 2 pairs at 5 m long in bi-amped mode from my MF power amps into my PMC 20-26 speakers.
Talking to my dealer all I described was typical.
2 months on, the bass has returned. The extreme top has mellowed a bit. All in all I’m happy. I am enjoying the increased detail that these Chords bring.
