Chord GroundARAY - brilliant or bollocks?

Chuckle. It was her favourite track, Return Of The Dread. And funnily enough she has just been in my room showing off her Irish Dancing (to a String Cheese Incident track). She pulled it off very well :grinning:

Today is our 49th wedding anniversary and I’ve never danced with her. Or anyone else for that matter - to the relief of most of my friends and family!

Ah - thanks for that

I know better than to try an ABBA listening test here @ home.

Mazel tov! Congratulations!

Mazel tov. Thanks Bart, I’ve learned a new expression.

I learn SO MANY interesting British-isms here so often. Happy to share with wealth with that old-school Hebrew / Yiddish expression.

Speaking of learnings, I was struggling with the term bollocks and Dog’s bollocks as they mean totally different things. British-isms…

Easy:

Naim is obviously the DBs…

All else is B…unless validated through a blind test!

Rajaz doesn’t seem to be on streaming services. I have the CD, which I have ripped. I found Jakob on Tidal, but are yet to play it.

I thought you’d prefer the Bee’s Knees

@JonoB,

I just found it in Discogs.

Bee’s Knees is much more me, must admit!

First time I heard of Dog’s B’s was a Chas Roberts MTB, the DOGS BOLX…I didn’t even know what it meant!

I think I did

I guess it is just a bunch of capacitors in a nice tube, the capacitor’s will effectively ground any stray RF. However, with the price and cost of top end Naim gear you would think they have already considered this? I was sceptical about other makes of speaker cable until I tried it for a week, then went back to the previous. I realised what I was missing. I had the same issue with a certain brand of Mains power lines, although for my Middle Eastern sourced power supply it appeared to have less of an effect than on the NAP200

Yes it seems Chord is also not the first to produce these kinds of devices. If you google for “acoustic revive” you will find another brand from Japan that sells roughly the same kind with “quartz”, albeit for a bit less money.

Sounds like a PITA.
