Chromecast audio dongle

Hi
Does anyone know if you can power a Google Chromecast audio dongle direct from the usb socket on the Mu-so Qb Gen 1?

I would like to use a Chromecast audio dongle but don’t have any spare power sockets so the usb socket is my only option.

I do it on a Muso so I guess it should work fine on a QB too.

Cheers. I have two dongles unopened but didn’t want to open one if it didn’t work.

I can confirm that it works on the Qb gen 1
