Listened to it earlier. It confirms what a lot of people think, that unless you’re in front of a decent hi fi actively listening out for failings most won’t be aware of a difference between CD quality and reasonable MP3 files. Obviously this won’t apply to the readership on here.
It’s very good though and typical of what the BBC and Radio 4 specifically can do - produce an interesting and informative programme that doesn’t need to attract enough listeners to generate the ad revenue.
