Connection diagram needed for NAPS

This NAPS is marked as such, but has no serial number (only given as “Pre-amp”) and is sadly lacking any indication of how to connect it. I have the following questions:

  • How should it be connected?
  • Which pre-amps was it intended for and can be typically used with?
  • When was is made?

Judging by its interior, I assume that somebody has worked on it in the past. Before it is connected to anything, I’ll have it serviced by Sequence Audio (former Focal Naim Germany employee) here in Germany or by Darran when I am next in the UK.

Thanks in advance for any help,

David

The socket with the white mark connects to the preamp, the other one connects to the power amp.

Normally a NAC12/NAP120 combo, but it can be used with any Naim preamp with a 4 pin DIN (in conjunction with 5 pin link plug, if applicable).

Hi Neil,

Many thanks for your quick and informative reply.

It will probably be used with a bolt-down NAC32 and a bolt-down NAP160 for the time being, so not entirely off the mark.
