Coronavirus - our mental health

The illuminati assuming they exist will be fine.

When I mentioned earlier I could really do with a few weeks/months off regular routine it’s primarily as I’ve had a miserable 12 months and have fallen behind with lots of things around the house including paperwork, the garden, handling my parents’ estate, generally decluttering the house in order to get stuff back out of storage where costs have risen inexorably and a waste of money…just thought things were on an even keel in terms of life stressors I had no control over and we get this.

I could do a lot in the garden in coming weeks, and intend to, but as with you no garden waste collection as of last week, and food recycling to go in with normal refuse (upped to weekly at least for now). The munical tip/garden waste facility is something that would have been very valuable but hardly essential.

Er… biking’s not allowed. Jogging and walking only.

I agree with you and frenchrooster about the constant flow of negative information, it only triggers anxiety; I find the live reporting on the Le Monde site rather pleasant however, less anxiety-inducing than the Guardian’s.

Doubtful, how much tighter can it be?

The Illuminati? The CIA, Vatican, and Mafia are very real organisations. They don’t control human destiny, they have vested interests in society as it functions…i.e. peoples money, souls and loyalty. If these lines are closed to them, heads will roll.

Notorious because of the manner in which they deal with traitors.

I was just adding to your list …

Thought the Mona Lisa was some kind of Dan Brown reference.

Wait and see.

best comment I have read in weeks

stay safe and see you on the other side

You too!

Now there are growing concerns over fake news spread on the internet : gargling warm water to ward off covid, videos of riots purportedly taken recently actually taken years ago, reporting that certain ethnic and religious peoples are disregarding directives on distancing. It is bad, no two ways about it. Suprising? No. Look at the use mobile phones have been put to in schools and workplaces. They are now regarded as a basic human right at work or at school. Personally I have been on the receiving end of crap due to morons using mobiles at work. Filming or recording me, yes, spreading malicious gossip about me, yes, putting porn right under my nose, pointing to a female colleague and asking me if “I’d want to shag it if I had the chance.” Diseased society.

Unfortunately I’m an atheist: the one thing I regret is that if I’m right I won’t be able to say “I told you so.”, because there is no ‘other side’ to go to!
