Did I really see this bargain 552 DR?

Is it me, or did a factory serviced 552 DR just sell in rapid time on the Bay for less than £4k?

Please tell me a lucky member on here picked it up!

Be very careful regarding items listed on eBay for what appears to be under market value.

I once saw photos of a piece of equipment that I had previously sold being used to list an identical item for 20% less than I had sold the real item. I reported it to eBay and it immediately disappeared from the listings.

Agreed @T-elmi - often if it is too good to be true, it is. However the photos of this one look good but the history of the seller is extremely short. Perhaps it was too good to be true?

It’s quite an old serial number, but still one should be cautious. Not too cautious though as eBay buyer protection covers you.

Asking the buyer questions usually gives a good indication of whether they are legit or not. Genuine HiFi nerds always like to talk!

This was most definitely a fake or someone trying to betray. Hope that eBay insurance is woking when this happens.

We have a local platform here where I sometimes daily report the false Naim adds.

And yes - hifi nerds talk and criminals talk nonsense. Like confirming the 52 to be the newer model with hdmi
