Sometimes, when dusting the system, all lights on the 552 go on, last time the left channel muted.
After switching the system off and on again, everything was normal again.
I assume, this is a static thing due to dusting.
I do not really mind, but I wonder if this is in any way harmful to the system? Any experiences?
This can happen from static. I think the logic circuits get a bit scrambled. A power cycle should correct things.

I get this quite often, you can actually hear a static discharge. Pressing any button puts all the lights back to normal. I have managed to convince myself it sounds better after the static has discharged…
