Surprised no one has mentioned Nils Frahm. In recent years he is increasingly creating beautiful electronic music along side his neoclassical piano works. His recent Live in Paris album is wonderful.

Norman feller from Germany, otherwise well known as Terry Lee Brown jr and countless other pseudonyms along with Jean F Chochois - otherwise well known as The Timewriter influenced the beginnings of the minimal dubby atmospheric Electronica club sounds of the mid 1990s onwards to the present future. Founding record labels Plastic City, Driftwood and Fiji that drew on earlier Basic Channel recordings.
