Why not buy both, test , and keep the best working, and return the second. You will loose only 15 pounds for returning one switch.
Both give 14 days and 1 month return policy.
Just yesterday I borrowed EE switch to listen against my old Sisco2960… okey as a conclusion… EE is a little bit better v.s Sisco not a big upgrade but still better that’s what push us enough to think to have… okey!.. it’s more open to the sound, more bright… need to think if I need it at all
Meni, you have not listened to me. I said you to buy the Rubbicon Master Reference clock, a bargain for 20k. It would turn the EE into stratospheric performance!
It’s good to compare switches for listening rather than trusting blind… just a comment to those with Cisco Catalyst appliances… not all switches lead to the same sound … so when comparing Cisco switches one ideally should state model number and software build… these could affect SQ performance. Otherwise it’s like saying all Ford cars drive the same!
For example I found the LANBASEK9 / IPBASEK9 builds slightly preferable. You should have been informed when you bought the switch whether it’s LANBASE or LANLITE, when new there is quite a price difference between the two… otherwise you will need to log onto the switch to show its version.
