Man City are now finally officially “the best team in the land and all the world”, being the fourth English team to win the Club World Cup.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have the chance to go 8 points clear of Citeh to win the “top of the EPL at Christmas” trophy.

Excellent game up at Anfield it was 1-1 and 50/50 don’t know why Klopp was so salty I know they can’t beat us in the league these days but I thought we both deserved a point.

At least the Premier League is getting more competitive this season with three possibly four teams in with a chance and also the top four/five Champions League places coud go to one of seven or eight teams.

Agreed on all counts Bob. Though patently that excludes my lot ManU who continue provide great entertainment, though unfortunately it is to supporters of every other team :rage:).

And my team, Steve :black_heart::white_heart::frowning:

Apologies Andy, we needed the points and Newcastle weren’t really at the races today. We got the result that our performances have been leading towards without getting the breaks. Big appreciation to the Newcastle fans (who hit the pubs in Toddington early yesterday :blush:) who showed great respect and support for Tom Lockyer, that was very classy as was the banner they also brought with them saying the same. I know that we play a pressing game but Newcastle looked strangely lethargic.

No need at all to apologise Paul! We’re getting players back now, and really need to start winning some points away from home.

At SJP we have been excellent but the away form puts pressure on that, and needs to improve quickly. Luton seem up for the fight; good luck for the second half of the season :black_heart::white_heart:

Apart from the broken collar bone it was quite amusing especially Klopp’s reaction.

Oh dear Chelsea fall further and further :joy::joy:

My father just pointed out that Wrexham drew a bigger crowd than Luon yesterday and Newport brought more away fans than Newcastle.

That stadium is full of character but I guess there comes a point when sentiment needs to take a back seat to reality. The sooner Power Court is in place the better.
