The Summer transfer window opens tomorrow and many of our teams Pre Season preparations open in the next few weeks, so hopefully there will be lots to discuss with the comings and goings in the EPL.
I have named this thread the English Premier League Season as I believe @mikehughescq wants to start his own thread discussing the goings on in the other English and Scottish Football Leagues so without further ado let’s kick things off with the biggest transfer story of the Summer Declan Rice’s imminent move from European Conference Champions West Ham United.
If the press are to be believed he is going to my club Arsenal but as we learnt in January with the sale of Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea the press are not always correct so where will he go?
I called our miserable season last year before the first day, convinced this year will be better.
Only the press are still linking Rice with a move to Stamford Bridge. We’ve got our own yoofs to bring on and they should get a shout under Poch. And his best mate is heading North.
Other midfielders are being brought in, from Brighton, Italy and Spain. Though apparently we’re getting rid of both keepers, so if Declan can sport a sexy pair of outsize gloves he could make it in.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Kane made a move over mind. He probably won’t, but I wouldn’t be surprised.
Possible with all that glitz, glamour and Hollywood millions no flooding into the place anything is possible Mancheatster City where in Division 3 a little over 20 years ago.
Grauniad reporting that West Ham have declined Arsenals £80m offer for Rice and are expecting Citeh to make an offer. In other news, Arsenal now sniffing around Kai Havertz. As Grauniad puts it
I’d argue that. I like Kai, he can be incredibly fluid on the ball but really he’s been given enough chances in different positions and fluffs his lines in front of goal too often. You can have him for £70m…
I suspect he’s more stifled by the Premier League defences.
