Expensive high-end power cables vs Naim standard cables

FWIW… In the United States the addition of the AV Options SuperWiremold Deep-Cryo Power Strip with AV Options TibiaPlus12 Deep-Cryo AC power cables proved to be a worthwhile upgrade.

Just a thought… aftermarket cables generally use a thicker gauge wire, this would reduce resistance which would in turn allow current to flow easier.

Grossly decorated and overpriced. :zipper_mouth_face:

I guess you mean that your HiCap is connected to NAC282, not to NDX2.

What exactly are these expensive high end cables?

Nothing personal but.
Read between the lines same as anyone else.
I’ve pointed out what’s what and am getting a rough ride for trying to help.

Sorry this is between two similar threads.
It’s just that Powerline lites are 0.75mm2 and the correct rating for that size of cable is either 7A or 10A if the cable is less than 2metres
Not 13A thst cones fitted or recommended.
I changed my cables to 1.5mm2 to get rid of the discrepancy and possible bottleneck.

Hi @Skeptikal , I ordered an Australian underwear. Do you think it complies with European rules?

Ah sorry, a different thread. That’s odd, must be the subject “du jour”.

No, but sure makes me feel inadequate.

Should be banned for that alone!

So where do these fit in?

Appropriate socket if rated correctly.

Not in UK sockets!

*except it seems in Malta where I’d see these plugged into UK sockets everywhere

I didn’t thought there are so many different in the world:

If that’s the case, why did they ditch the stock 14 AWG WellShin cables in recent years, without any explanation, and then replace them with even cheaper and smaller cables?
