The coloured bits are where Ancestry DNA analysis says I am from. The problem is they keep changing their mind every six months. Last year I was a bit Danish. 50% Scottish/Irish, 41% English basically.

But sadly(?)….not having done chemistry since A level…I got it straight away!

Edit: annoyingly (at the time) I failed the A-level, coz I completely fcuked up the practical (and I knew that I’d screwed up when I walked out of the lab). Of course, I had already “walked” the theory.

Didn’t bother with re-sit. I’d changed direction to electronics by then. But still annoyed by my screw-up.

I was always fascinated by the early drawings of Mars when I studied astronomy o level at school in the 80’s.

Now Hubble sees it in unbelievable detail. A lot has changed since I was a kid.
