Finishing on a dry stroke

I was reading the instructions to my Vax, wet, carpet cleaning machine and the final instruction was, " always finish on a dry stroke"
Well, there is only one thing to say…
"Did sir finish on a dry stroke?
“Ooh suites you sir”
