Firmware 4.8 update for Tidal

Hi all - I’ve taken up the Tidal subscription again after some time away. I note I need to update the NDS firmware to 4.8. I’ve done updates before using work laptop with no issues but now the increased security means I can’t use that PC for this. I was wondering whether it is possible to do the update using an iPad Pro or whether it has to be a PC? If it is possible then which cable to I need to plug into the NDS and iPad (assume USB C iPad end to USB B NDS end). If using an iPad is not possible I’ll need to think again. Many thanks

It needs to be a PC or Mac, you can’t use an ipad unfortunately.

I’m sure a local dealer could do this for you, are you based near one?

The 4.8 download files are only available for Mac or pc.
Could you borrow a laptop from friend/neighbour?
