Finally got to some live music for the first time in ages last night. An outside performance of Cosi fan Tutte at Waterperry Opera. Sung in English in a “free” translation - the most groan worthy being: “You have broken my resistance but I must keep social distance”.
The weather was not kind although it stayed mainly dry and they shortened the interval and 2nd Act to beat the rain moving in.
An enthusiastic group of young performers and a fun evening out. The arts are in dire trouble so it was good to see a real effort being made to get restarted.
