Flat cap Question

Hi Guys,
Need some advice, can I use a olive Flat cap from a CD 3.5 on a NAC 72 olive to power it. I am using it with a NAP180. It only says HiCap on 72.

Thank you in advance.

Yes, you can.

Yes you can but you can only power one device at a time with an Olive Flatcap.

You need a Flatcap 2 or 2X to power up two items such as CD3.5 and Nac 72.

Thank you for all the help. My idea was to only power the nac 72, but with it only labelled HiCap, I thought there may be some kind of problem.
My cd 3.5 keeps reading error on track 8 of most cds, this is where the Flatcap was used.
I am using a Marantz cd 63 ki.
Thinking of going to streaming sometime soon.
Thanks for your advice.
Take Care.

The flatcap may make little difference compared to powering with the 180. A Hicap is really what you need.

Do you think a 62 CB & HiCap CB with the 180 be an improvement over the 72 powered by the 180. I have it streaming with a WiiM.
Thanks for any advice. Ruark icon speaker will be used, linn k20 and chord chrysalis interconnect.

If you have the Hicap why not just use it on the 72?

Would like to keep the olive look.
I was planning to get the CB stuff serviced soon, I have a CB 62, HiCap & 160 BD. Do you think there would be an improvement on the 72 & 180.

If you mean would adding a Hicap to the 72/180 make a difference, the answer is unequivocally yes.

Thank you HungryHalibut, it’s service time.
Really appreciate your help.

If the cd player is reading errors at around the same point, then it may mean the spindle it moves on is gooped up, it could be an easy fix.

I took your advice and cleaned the lens the tray area. Blown out all the inside, cleaned all connections. The Flatcap got the same treat and just tried the discs that the problem was happening with. They are playing perfectly, I also used a camera lens blower on the lens. A BIG THANK YOU garyi, for all your help and advice.
