Thanks, the TV aerial cable in a conduit in my house wall must be 43 years old as that was when the house was built. I am thinking of replacing it with your suggested WF100, could be a fiddly job.

Conduit !! lucky you.
Mine had a coax buried in the wall plaster and into a corner of the room that we really didn’t want the TV. Plus the aerial was pointing at London, on the wrong side and below the roof line to receive from the south midlands area TV transmitter at Oxford.
I ran a TV and separate FM inside the wall cavity on the “right” side of the house.
TV in those days was UHF analogue and I had x2 outside TV aerials to pick up the various/different stations from both Oxford & London, FM was in the attic.
A lightning strike took out the aerials, plus all the coax’s and most everything else electrical in the house.
Meantime, I had installed cavity wall insulation so the new coax’s (Webro WF100) had to be external.
Now, TV is digital and with Oxford pushing out 100kW and only 6km away, the Blake’s log period TV aerial is inside the attic.
