Focal Bathys firmware update bug

Hi

Not sure if any other Bathys owners have come across this one.

A few days ago I got a message in the Focal and Naim app that there was a firmware update available (see screenshot below)

On selecting the message a further screen appeared:

This shows the installed version to be the same as the new version.

Out of curiosity, I continued with the ‘update’ and it appeared to go through all the expected stages and sent a message saying that the update had been successful.

The current version is still showing as 1.5.7 (the same as before) and it is still saying an update is available but everything works fine. However, there does seem to be a minor bug somewhere.

Should I report to Naim support or is this something that can be covered off in the Beta group?

I also use the Bathys. The installed version is 1.5.7 and there is no update message in my app.

In this firmware version it should be possible to use the Google Assistant. That is not possible with my Bathys. I only can choose Alexa or Siri.

So I think that update link is not the only bug with this firmware version and I would be happy with a real update to 2.0.

It’s a Focal product so not part of Naim Beta - best to speak to your dealer or contact Focal support.
