That’s quite a change from Klopp today. Let’s see how this pans out on the field of battle.
Congratulations to Rangers for winning the Scottish PL. They’ve had a very difficult time over recent years. Fans will feel they are now back to where they belong.

It wasn’t the wisdom of hindsight. Celtic fans have known all along exactly how good VVD is. No, Liverpool weren’t reliant on one player. But Van Dijk is the keystone. Without him, it’s crumbled. And Klopp’s all-round weirdness hasn’t helped. Bizarre substitutions, destruction of the midfield, bull-headed refusal to adapt tactics etc etc.
I said a couple of days ago that he might walk away at the end of the season. After today, will he even last that long?

I dont agree. Even as a key player, VVD was not in the team for most of the season when Liverpool were top at Christmas.
As for leaving, it will be on his terms. He has achieved too much thus far to be pushed out, despite Gerrard’s achievements.
My personal view is comparing 5 years of Klopp’s achievements to 2 months of bad form and injury crisis would be ludicrous. Anyone calling for his head requires counselling.

I still think Klopp might walk; he’s done it before.
Anyway, we should be giving Fulham and Scott Parker credit. I’d much rather they stayed up than Brighton or Newcastle.
