Yes, they were. It completely passed me by that it was the FA Cup.
As a lifelong Leicester City fan and season ticket holder I enjoyed that win. Thoroughly deserved and could have been more. Gutted we can’t go on the trip/trips to Wembley.
Who was it that called the PL boring earlier in this thread?
West Ham came out and really pressed us something that I’m amazed Spurs didn’t do last week, we got caught completely cold and for 30 mins West Ham had us completely on the ropes and looked like a proper top four side.
Then we came back into it and at 3-3 it turned into a great game of end to end football which in the end neither team could go and win and I think a draw was fair.
Great for the neutral horrible for the opposing fans.
Not pretty, not nice.
But 3 points.
Better attitude. Think we need to use the youngsters more often.
COYS 5th. (3 points from a Champions League spot).
Great game - IF you were a neutral
The Spammers going all ‘Spammy’.
Bad news for Spurs. The Golf Courses open next week.
I watched it last night. Decent account of a life well lived.
Not manager to see it yet, will try this evening.
Well, finally found something as insipid and teeth pulling as watching my Spurs play recently.
Watching England play !!!
I do wonder how many more mistakes does Stones have to make before Southgate gets the message.
Why does Southgate always set us up defensively. Phillips and Rice in the same midfield is overly cautious.
Have you ever noticed that you never see Southgate and Mourinho at the same time…
Non-stop sideways and backward passing doesn’t really keep the audience on the edge of their seats, does it?
As a Leeds fan, I’ve been figuring out why Kalvin Phillips seems less effective than I’d expect, and it’s quite simple.
Usually, whenever he collects the ball, he need only look up, to see several players ahead of him running into spaces, allowing him to put in one of his accurate upfield passes, usually to good effect.
Doesn’t happen with Engerland, does it, with our static upfield players looking like the mannequins more usually seen on the training ground?
The U21’s was a much more interesting game. Has anyone got to the bottom of the guffuffle at the end?
Kieran Tierney, John McGinn, Andy Robertson, Che Adams, Ryan Fraser and Kenny McLean were all excellent in the demolition of the mighty Faroe Islands, so the world is a brighter place.
I wouldn’t waste my time watching England play they are predictably predictable.
Why not ? They have their own (admittedly inferior) version of David Luiz…
David Luiz has been excellent this season even when we where on that losing run he was one of our stand out players and since Christmas he’s been top draw and I sincerely hope has earned himself a new contract.
What do you expect with a diving cheat of a Spud for a captain?
I did…
and they are!
