Notifications are a mess. Would be great to have it solved.

I’m not so sure I like it either, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. It’s down to the Discourse platform so it can’t be changed from here, and for security, updates have to be applied.

I think mainly and for me it was flooded with old notifications but now I’ve pressed “dismiss” everywhere and hopefully it will be easier to track onwards

Yes, it seems to have reactivated some old notifications. Easy enough to dismiss, as you have found.
I still have issue with all notifications remaining highlighted, so I can’t distinguish from ‘Replies’ I’ve already seen and responded to and those I haven’t.
Even though you’ve pressed the DISMISS button on all categories of notifications down right?

Not a fan of the new drop down…makes it impossible to track the threads where I have been active.

I found applying the dismiss button helped .

I found at the bottom corner, it has now disappeared …
