Wouldn’t know how to start with veneering but got a good finish with the paint.
Veneering is so much easier than when my dad taught me. Hide glue in a pot over a primus, soaking the veneer, old sheets and a very heavy iron.
Now you can buy veneer already coated with glue or thermal glue sheets.
Easier to apply the veneer before cutting, or just get ready veneered MDF sheet. Some suppliers will do the machining for you.
