Thanks @Debs… useful info.
Nice to see Alex Dowsett…a fellow Essex lad…selected. good contre le montre rider.

Good to see this years winner [ Spoiler Alert! ] Vincenzo Nibali leading the Trekies

on a side note…there is a very interesting fly on the wall doc on Netflix following the Movistar team in 2018 2019.
Tensions between Quintana and Landa…nice to see their DS Max Sciandri again…remember watching him ride as a British rider for Motorola back in the day.

Should be a good day.

Nice topic here! I’m really into cycling this year. I see 3 Polish riders so it adds to excitement. Rafał Majka can actually win something so yeah.
What bothers me is the absence of Lachlan Morton who did some amazing things this year and I was wondering what he would do in a grand tour. But he is not on a list :frowning:

October 3rd,so they start on my birthday,59

I have really been enjoying watching the women’s races on Eurosport/GCN since the pro racing resumed a month or so back. The Dutch are just so strong. Really cannot understand why there is not much TV coverage as it is quite often more exciting than the mens races.

The talk of “spoilers” is odd. Simply don’t click on the thread until you know the result.

Final day time trial in the Giro takes me back to Rome 2009.

Most riders demob happy, taking it easy and posing for photos. Great, relaxed atmosphere with the riders walking amongst the spectators. Although I don’t suppose that will happen this year.

I’m not good with posting pics here so I will only tell you that EF pro have very interesting kit this year- it has some ‘90 vibes. Will be controversial for sure. And Lachlan Morton seems to be on the team anyway - I like!

I saw a pic of the Stelvio pass last week. Thick snow and - 7degC. Weather going to be fun in the mountains for sure!

It could cause cancellations or route alterations to come in the mountain stages : /
