I should say I’m watching it on TV. Although it is glorious weather down here in Laandan

Absolutely loving the CMAT set - what a star!

CMAT was good. I enjoyed Wet Leg. Liked the bit of Supergrass that I saw. Will try to watch more of the Lorde set. So far for me the highlight has been English Teacher.

She could do with a bit more support…:winking_face_with_tongue:

Settling in for the duration here.

When are Hawkwind on?

Well, I am not a Lewis Capaldi fan and would only recognise one of his songs, but I thought his set was excellent. He has a great voice. On the other hand, English Teacher left me cold. I am getting old!

However, live music streamed through decent speakers and viewed on a good quality TV is really enjoyable. I am looking forward to Glastonbury this weekend. I hope Rod Stewart is still up to it. Not sure about the Searchers?

Please no, Alanis. Put that harmonica down.

Looking forward to The Libertines

She appeared to be playing guitars which were not plugged in.

Not a band I often listen to but Franz Ferdinand played a good set.

Harsh. As a guitarist she’s definitely up there with Madonna and Mick Jagger

Lola Young made me stop and listen. Lyrics a bit coarse for this old boy but great voice and delivery. Always think Franz Ferdinand should have given up after album 1. Capaldi returning to finish what he’d started, whilst not my cuppa tea, delivered a great set. Morrisette, not for me. English Teacher a bit serious for a festival I thought.

Was hoping Phil Foden would pop out of Stockport’s finests black box. CMAT’s great but missed her set. Had a pint or two in The Blossoms. Proper pub.

Blossoms.

Some have some backing track enhancement. Not sure if some are even singing.

My two tips for this year’s Glastonbury. Neil Young will bomb, Rod Stewart will be great.

Lewis Capaldi definitely not my type of music. However, he has been unwell with mental health issues for the last 3 years and it shows. I found his performance rather moving as did the crowd who turned out in huge numbers for an afternoon show

Apparently Neil Youngs set won’t be filmed, which is normal for him

Absolutely storming version of You Oughtta Know by Alanis Morissette - she still has it
