I have the XS-85 at home and have had them for 2 days so far and I must say they are really very good speakers. Of course they are much more expensive than my Spendor D9 but that doesn’t always equate to better. In this case it really does. So a tip if you are auditioning speakers at this price level give them a go. You just might like them. I know I do.

I have a set of gold note A7 evo which are superb speakers. Its a shame that the brand isnt better know in the uk because they are excellent

I don’t recall ever hearing them but my dealer have them of course. I’ll try to get a listen soon.

Yes we’ve been listening now for 2 days and everyone is blown away. Tomorrow the dealer is having a demo with the A6. I’m going to try to find the time to go. However his room is not at all as good as mine.

Heard the a6 today. Very difficult to judge but they sounded very good in the setup I heard them. All Gold Note electronics with the PH-1000 and Mediterraneo X.
