Music enjoyment. “No repeats” Radio is great if sound quality is OK and the broadcaster and the commercials and the SQ can coexist. Radio is the sonic winner for variety, clarity and back to basics acoustic fun.

Maybe, but only for as long as the listener likes the choice of music offered, and is happy with isolated tracks unless they play whole albums…
These days there is some very basic low cost equipment that can sound surprisingly musical. Not able to create anything like a credible illusion of reality but still able to communicate the musical message.
Personally though I’ve never ever took to radio. I want to listen to what I want to listen to at the time, not what the radio wants to play. But I know many do love it.

Radio and naim’s music forum are my successful “new” music introduction. Partnered with Shazam and web reviews. A while ago 3 years with Tidal, it might have improved, back then, plethora was its Achilles heels.. on same page regarding whole album replay. Radio also solves replay of your best.

I also enjoy radio on my nds very much. Naim selection is excellent and helped me finding good stations worldwide, from grit rock to swiss jazz to flip. Most of the times I choose the album I want to listen, but sometimes I want just some good quality background. I think radio was big improvement with last update
