Has anyone tried the Antipodes K41 Music Server with the Naim NDX 2 Network Music Player

I am a Roon user, and I am using a Roon Nucleus as my Roon core/music server.

I purchased my Roon Nucleus five years ago (it seems like yesterday), and I am currently shopping for a music server of the calibre of my Naim gear (NDX 2/XPS DR > NAC252/SuperCap DR > NAP250 DR).

Has anyone tried the Antipodes K41 music server with the Naim NDX 2 network music player?

I am very interested in the “Direct Stream” feature on the Antipodes K41 - ethernet (RJ45) out of the Antipodes K41 and into the Naim NDX 2.

Thank you in advance!

I purchased a previously loved Antipodes K40 Music Server, and it has replaced my Roon Nucleus.

The K40 is too big for the Naim Fraim, so I have it standing vertically on the floor.

Set-up was easy: a streaming cable from my switch to the K40 (Network), and a streaming cable from the K40 (Direct Stream) to my NDX 2.

Antipodes offers several server settings. I tried both Roon and Squeeze, and Squeeze sounds best in my system.

I am running out of ways to describe my system: three dimensional soundstage, sublime dynamics, spectacular imaging…

Naim + Antipodes = Win/Win
