Another vote here for the Meze 99’s. Beautifully made, robust, great sound for both music and movies/tv. Mine are the 99 Noir Massdrop edition.

Love my Sony noise cancelling headphones, very smooth, plenty of tight bass, well in your budget
Not been too well this week.(Okay now)
Headphone search curtailed.
I have three in the running:
- Meze 99 Classic
- Focal Elegia
- Beyer Dynamic Amiron

I have a pair of Amiron Wireless…they are a closed back design. So you could use them either wired or wireless.
I then upgraded the ear pads with some Delkoni pads which improved the sound leakage no end….
But then I do like the Beyer sound signature……if you can source some Beyer T5 they are great….but they might be out of your budget.
Both are very comfortable and, open sounding with a great sound stage.
