Help! 222 remote has stopped working

this morning my 222 was unhappy both qobuz connect and naim app showed music playing - but no sound - same with iradio - i tried phono and that played fine - so a problem with 222 - did the std power off and unplug for 2 mins then restarted - seemed to solve problem.

then i tried adjusting volume with remote - no response - in fact no response to any button push on remote - i replaced batteries recently and backlight comes on when a button is pushed so doesn’t look like battery problem, - tried to follow instructions for pairing remote - pressing home for 3 secs set lights went round the volume ring then stopped but still no response from 222 to remote
does anyone have any ideas?

First of would suggest power everything off, including the control point.
Power up again after. short pause and see if that restores the volume.
Which app you use, you have detailed and it’s also worth detailing which version numbers for both app and streamer. Extra details like wired or wifi are all useful aspects of detail, when ask for any ideas.
Pleeeze, the ‘latest’ is not a version number!

I had issues with my 222 remote with the previous firmware. Try taking the batteries out of the remote, leave for 30secs and put them in again.
