A common question asked of Naim is why, where a dedicated power supply is used, are signals routed from the pre-amp through the SUPER-CAP, HI-CAP or FLAT-CAP to the power amp, rather than directly from the pre-amp to the power amp? Thanks, I’m missing something but shouldn’t it be just the ground that makes contact in the power supplies because the signal goes there too?

The Signal earth is connected to ground at the source - i.e. a Naim CD player or Network Player.

Ah, now I think I understand why my LP12 fettler suggested not to attach the ground wire from the Aro to the 32.5. He said it would make no difference, and it didn’t. In my case the signal was going through a HiCap-powered Prefix.
