I would really like to add an extra tier for a CD player but I see that Hi Fi Racks Limited went into liquidation. That is a real shame as their racks are great. Does anyone know of any company who would make a rack to the same specifications?
Try The Lincolnshire Woodworker. They are able to make shelves etc and where to place the holes etc.
Atacama now make the Apollo Podium. It looks very similar, though maybe the corners are more rounded. You may be able to add one at the bottom so any slight differences are less noticeable.
Solid Steel Brabd. Series 5. You nay be able to add more shelves with the SS
The Atacama website refers to Hifi Racks as the inspiration.
I have always found them very helpful if you phone.
From what I understand Atacama took over some of Hifi Racks business when they went into liquidation. I am sure they could replicate a close match for you.
I use Hifi Racks and I’m really impressed with the quality, I went to the factory to pick mine up as they were local to me. Real shame they went out of business. Hopefully I won’t need another shelf but I would happily try Atacama if did.
As per my response above, I need two extra shelves along with legs. The guy I mentioned said that he can replicate what Hifi Racks did. I will not post any links here, but his email is available online.
