Hi Res streaming on Muso 1st Gen with Tidal Flac files

Hi to all!

Now that Tidal has released High Res Flac streaming, is it possible to stream in high resolution on a Naim Muso 1st Gen via the Naim muso app?

Not natively; but nothing will work until updates are rolled out by Naim to the app, but it’s likely this will not include gen 1 streaming devices.

However there are other solutions that will allow hires playback (proxy server software such as bubbleupnp, or roon).

Hi, it was the Bridgeco streaming boards in Naim’s 1st gen streamers that were limited in their ability to handle remote servers due to their added latency issues.
