HiCAP as Napsc?

Hopefully a quick and easy one, I just can’t find any reference on the internet.

I have a Hicap that’s used for a olive Headline so was wondering if it is possible to do the same for other units?

Specifically I have a spare Hicap could I use this rather than having to buy a Napsc to use with a nac102? I already have a Hicap in the loop on the 102 connection for this so this would be a second in addition to save another purchase and a wasted unit

You need a Napsc. The Hicap is the wrong voltage.

I did this very thing ,way back in the day , I cant remember exactly why ,but i did not like the outcome . 24.xv vs 18v must upset something.
It was designed to run 18v so there is probably the answer
