The image shows how a Hicap and Flatcap are connected to a NAC 152x. Does it matter if I connect power out A to the pre amp and use B to power the CD5?

not really but what is the hicap powering in your system?
I’m not really sure but if you want to follow the diagram you could simply use A to power the CD5.
I just wanted to make sure I could use the spare power out without causing any damage.
The Flatcap can power two things quite happily, so there is no need to worry.
