HiCap DR + Supernait 3 + Supercap DR + Superline = Superconfused

Hello!

Just received my Supercap DR upgrade for my Superline.

I thought this would be a pretty straightforward upgrade and setup after others suggesting it for the Superline.

But after reading some threads on how to connect all this together with the new Supercap DR, I’m not totally sure I did the right thing.

Here’s the current setup:

Supernait 3 w/ HiCap DR
Superline w/ Aux 2 to SN3
NDX2 w/ XPS DR
CD5 SI

New setup:

Supernait 3 w/ HiCap DR
Superline w/ Supercap DR to SN3???
NDX2 w/ XPS DR
CD5 SI

Seems like the potential issue would be with the powered Aux 2 on SN3?

Could I use the Tuner channel?

Yes, you could use the tuner input. You’ll need a 4-5 DIN interconnect to connect Supercap socket 5 to the SN3 tuner input. Have you got the Supercap connected to the Superline via a Burndy cable ?

Yes, the Supercap Dr and Superline are connected via a Burndy cable.

Perfect. Socket 5 will do nicely then. Enjoy your new Supercap powered Superline when you get a suitable interconnect sorted :+1:
