My 5 shelf Target rack has glass shelves. I have seen photos of the same rack but with “wooden” shelves. Which is better? Has anyone converted from glass to wood or vice versa?

Not a fan of glass. It tends to ring and needs to be damped. I prefer wood or aluminum . I’m not sure any other high end company besides Naim use Glass. I wonder if Lexan, or another polycarbonate might sound better.
