I’ve got some decisions to make myself in the coming months with deposits already paid to BA and accommodation deposits paid in the USA. The thing that concerns me a little with the voucher offer is inflation. Isn’t it likely that we will see a significant increase in inflation as a result of the spending to curb the pandemic? The voucher may not be sufficient to purchase the same holiday by any means, the offer of the holiday company to add a percentage to the voucher seems reasonable. Having said that if you get the cash now inflation will still have an impact on what you can purchase in the future.
