Its a long time ago, but I remember being ‘given’ a Phono-to-BNC lead, by my dealer, to allow me to connect my Arcam Alpha+ CD player to my Naim NAC72’s CD input.
Much later, when trading some items in, to the same dealer, I ‘returned’ the same lead.
Dealer sold the cable to me at cost so that takes some of the pain away

Met with the response…‘we’d wondered where our shop set had gone’.
…mind you I was trading in the CDX for a CDS2 (and more), so my guilt was assuaged.
