I’m not sure where I learned about this app but it got pretty favorable reviews on the Roon forum. Basic use is free, and use with the built-in iPhone microphone is said to be pretty much as good as when using an external microphone.
Now I just need to figure out what these curves mean. The top one is from the sweet spot, listening position at the bottom one is from further back behind our kitchen island.
I do own a good USB mic that I bought to use with REW, and I will see how the results compare.
I also have a USB mic (miniDSP) and REW but haven’t cracked it open yet. I need to take some time to learn to use it and take some measurements.
The nice thing about this app is that it takes, literally, no time. 5 minutes from downloading to getting those curves.
Looks like IOS only ?
