Every now and again, I post something that attracts more likes than I could reasonably expect. The drop-down menu shows a second line, then says something like “plus xx more.” Nothing is clickable, so is there a way to see who these fine people are?
38 people have viewed you post and nobody bothered to answer, just touch the heart and a sub menu drops down.
Like the OP says, if you click the arrow you get another line of icons, and a ‘and X more’. I certainly can’t find a way to see them all.
yeh I’ve noticed that too, @Richard.Dane is this a constraint of the system? Thanks
Yes, as it currently stands it seems to just show you the first 16 avatars. There have been some requests to included an option to show all who have liked a post. I’ll see what comes with the next update.
I think there should be an option to see those who viewed your post, but had the audacity NOT to like it. Then we can hunt them down ![]()
Tap your avatar.
Tap the arrow at the bottom of the page.
Tap
Lik
You’ll get to this page.
You should be able to see more than 16 likes. I can. ![]()
Hmm. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but that doesn’t let me see more than 16 likes.
If you’re using a computer or just a regular browser on a phone or tablet then you’ll only see a max of 16 avatars of people who have liked a post.
Seems an awful lot of effort to see who ‘liked’ my Wordle score in the hope of getting a reciprocal ‘like’ ![]()
Thanks for your reply, Richard. Yes, I generally check out the forum on my desktop. Occasionally I do use a browser on a phone or tablet. What would I (or anyone else) need to use to see more avatars?
As you can see from my post yesterday, I can see 18 avatars.
That was using a Honor mobile phone.
With my older Alcatel mobile phone I can see 19 avatars.
You may do if you use the Discourse app.
I’m pretty sure I’m not using the discourse app.
I keep getting Popups asking if I’d like to download it.
Only takes three taps, which takes three seconds.
Not something I’d do myself, just trying to be helpful.
Surprised I didn’t get a like or similar, after all Richard got 6 likes for advising that it’s not possible. When it is. ![]()
Come on guys, “like” him to death!!![]()
Maybe just a tablet/phone thing then. I can’t get more than 16 on Safari on my Mac. I’ll have to ask our web Dev about it as he’s far more tech savvy on these things than I ever am.
Crispy, I always “like” your Wordle score even if its a crap score - “like” most of this week!!
. So I’ll be lurking in the drop down menu somewhere.
Yes please.
I had to go back 2 months to find a post with more than 16 likes. ![]()
