How to identify Naim Burndy cables.

S-XPS Burndy cable - 11 pins;

The S-XPS Burndy cable is the latest and best Burndy for connecting an XPS/XPS2/XPSDR to various units. This Burndy cable superceded the earlier grey then black XPS Burndy cables, and can be identified by having S-XPS typed on the collar directional indicator.

NDS - 555PS Burndy (cable 1) - 10 pins;

NDS - 555PS Burndy (cable2) - 7 pins;

Note that, apart from the number of pins, cable 2 can easily be identified from cable 1 by having two white directional indicator bands just visible under the braided outer sheath.

SNAXO/S-NAXO Burndy - 17 pins;

The S-NAXO Burndy is the latest and best Burndy for connecting a SNAXO or a Superline to a Supercap. This Burndy cable superceded the earlier grey and then black cables and can be identified by having S-NAXO typed on the collar directional indicator.

NAC552 Burndy - 19 pins;

Distinguished by a braided outer sheath, with the directional indicator band just visible underneath, this Burndy can only be used to connect a NAC552 head unit to a 552PS.
